The Creekside Community Development Corporation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening one of Detroit’s great communities: Jefferson-Chalmers.
Jefferson-Chalmers is in Southeast Detroit adjacent to Grosse Pointe Park and proudly features:
A mix of new and historic housing
Parks and canals on the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair
Several quality schools, including the high-achieving Guyton Elementary School
The mission of Creekside Community Development Corporation (CDC) is to promote our southeastern Detroit neighborhood as a diverse and healthy community of choice by:
Preserving and building affordable and high quality housing
Protecting and enhancing our parks, waterways and other natural resources
Encouraging resident engagement in sustaining a clean, safe and beautiful community
Safeguarding and enhancing all of its current assets.
